- I deserve to take up space in this world
- I’m not everyone’s cup of tea and that’s okay.
- Just because it’s common, doesn’t mean it’s normal.
- What’s right for me isn’t right for everyone.
- There will always be someone more ___ and less ___ than me (Ex: intelligent, creative, entrepreneurial, etc.). Comparison is a waste of time and joy.
- The older I get, the less I care what people who don’t pay my bills think.
- People pursuing their purpose usually don’t have time to criticize others.
- Put the big rocks in first (big rocks = most important things).
- Most things aren’t black or white, but gray.
- If I don’t slow down to take care of my body, my body will slow me down to take care of it.
- The more I ignore my feelings, the bigger they get and the more they demand my attention.
- Mindset around money is a strong predictor of wealth.
- Hard work is not the only ingredient required for wealth.
- Preventative healthcare is less expensive than Western medicine in the long run.
- I know my body better than anyone else. If something doesn’t feel right, I need to bring it up until it feels resolved.
- Listen to my intuition, it’s usually right.
- Little changes are big changes.
- Mindset is everything.
- Attachment styles strongly influence how I interact with others and knowing it can shape how I work to be more secure.
- Applied knowledge is power.
- Action cures fear.
- Done is better than perfect.
- Perfectionism and workaholism are not good things.
- You are replaceable at work.
- Disproportionate reactions from others are a “them” problem, not a “me” problem.
- EMDR therapy is life-changing.
- Self-compassion makes me stronger, not weaker.
- Even a good romantic relationship is not a substitute for good friendships.
- Women are cyclical, men are linear.
- Hormonal birth control is similar to a chemical menopause.
- Many bosses care about attitude more than anything else.
- I can be my biggest advocate or my own obstacle.
- Meditation and breathwork doesn’t have to be woo woo and can completely change my nervous system.
- Stress is the worst thing for my health (stress can be physical, mental, emotional). And stressing about doing things the “healthy” way is still adding stress to my system.
